NCU hevur latið 750.000 euro til gransking innan krabbamein
Tann 10. Oktober 2014 høvdu Nordic Cancer Union (NCU) og Vísindaliga nevndin hjá NCU fund á Hotel Føroyum. Eitt mál á fundinum var at taka avgerð um at lata granskingarstuðul á 750.000 euro (umleið 6 mio.kr.)
til granskingarverkætlanir innan krabbamein. Stuðul verður latin til økini epidemiologi, heilsuframa og/ella rehabilitering av krabbameinssjúklingum. Ein treyt fyri at fáa stuðul er, at verkætlanin skal leggja stóran dent á norðurlendskt samstarv innan krabbameinsgransking. Á fundinum tók NCU avgerð um at lata fíggjarligan stuðul til 15 áhugaverdar granskingarverkætlanir. Tær verkætlanir, ið fingu stuðul frá NCU, vóru hesar:
